Can I find information on other Odd Fellows cemeteries here?
No. We are only owned by the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Burlington Lodge #22. We are not associated with the Odd Fellows Cemetery in Pemberton.
Can we bury two caskets on top of each other?
No. Our proximity to the Delaware river and local creeks prevents double-depth burials due to increased risk of soil collapse and flooding.
How do I acquire a monument for veterans?
We work with American Legion and Burlington County Veteran Services office to provide markers and flags. Forms for monuments are provided by the Veterans Administration and sent to us with signatures approving the information.
Where do I get a headstone?
At the time of burial, we can only provide a small temporary marker. All headstones and monuments must be purchased by an independent dealer.
What are the requirements for a headstone?
Although we do not provide headstones here, we require foundations for grave monuments. Forms for these foundations and their prices are typically completed by the monument dealer, signed by the customer for approval, and sent to us.
How long do foundations take?
After burial, we require six months for the ground to settle before installing foundations.
In the winter and persistent cold weather, installations are delayed until the grounds are workable. Large monuments may experience delays due to concrete availability. Refer to #12 of the Monument Rules.
